What tackle and bait are best to catch Gilthead Bream in UK waters? ?
Looking to catch Gilthead Bream in Cornwall. Any info would help but in particular bait, hook size, rigs.
the best baits are mussel or peeler crabs or good old rag worms no need to fish to heavy 6-8lb and match hook size to the bait you are using gilthead are usually caught in around 4feet of water the fish are averaging between 11/2lb to 3lbs in the harbours but are getting bigger
